Wedge prism is an optical element with a tilt angle that can deflect the incident light beam towards the thicker side of the prism at a certain deflection angle. The larger the prism wedge angle, the greater the deflection angle of the incident edge beam. The wedge angle of the wedge prism and the anti reflection film on the back can reduce the interference of ghost images reflected on the back surface. High precision wedge angle plates can ensure the accuracy of reflection and transmission wavefront distortion. It is mainly used to control beam deflection and scanning. Rotating the wedge-shaped prism along the optical axis can achieve circular scanning output of the beam. By combining two rotating wedge-shaped prisms and controlling their rotation speed, it is possible to achieve scanning and output of light beams in any shape, with an output range of an angular pyramid centered around the incident light beam.
