Double concave spherical lens is an excellent choice, if the absolute conjugate ratio of the object and image is close to 1:1 when focusing the input beam,  Its output light appears to diverge from the virtual image of the lens surface, and the distance from this virtual point to the lens is called the focal length. Similar to the piano-concave lens, the double concave spherical lens has a negative focal length, which allows the collimated incident light to diverge. The two sides of a biconcave lens have equal curvature radii. It is commonly used to expand light rays or increase focal length in existing systems such as beam expanders and projection systems.
