The glue bonded true zero order waveplate is made of quartz crystal and K9 material. The thickness of a single true zero order waveplate is in the micrometer range, and its mechanical strength is low and easily broken. Therefore, it is glued onto a K9 substrate to increase its mechanical strength. The glued true zero order waveplate has a large wavelength bandwidth and temperature bandwidth. Due to the adhesive in the optical path, it is suitable for optical systems with low power.
